Jeremy Munson, MN, US House, District 1

About.

I’m Jeremy Munson. Father. Patriot. Minnesotan.

Since being elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives four years ago, I have stood up to lobbyists and special interest groups to fight for what is right for the people of Minnesota.

Over the past two years, our Republic and Constitution have been under attack. Since day one, I have been with you in the trenches, fighting back against tyrannical executive edicts and defending our Constitution.

I’ve fought for our liberties whether they were being trampled by our Governor, the corporate media, or members of our own party…

I DID NOT BACK DOWN.

And now, with your vote, I am ready to take on the DC Swamp, Dr. Fauci, and the political elites seeking to destroy our way of life.

In Congress, I will support the America-First agenda.

As a member of the Minnesota House, I spoke at protests against Governor Walz’s lockdowns, offered the first resolution to end the peacetime emergency, and filed lawsuits challenging the Governor for unilaterally writing laws.

To defend election integrity, I took on our corrupt Secretary of State for changing election laws at the last minute through the courts… and the people won.

I have taken a stand against school boards adopting harmful Critical Race Theory and other racist curriculums in American classrooms.

And I have always stood for health freedom. Before… during… and after COVID.

As we continue the fight for our freedoms and liberty, I will never waiver on our 2nd Amendment and always protect the rights of the unborn.

I’m 100% Pro-Life. 100% Pro-Gun. 100% Conservative.

And I don’t just say… I’ve shown it… receiving consistent rankings as one of the most principled, conservative legislators in Minnesota.

I hope to earn your support, your prayers, and your vote.

In Liberty,

Jeremy Munson

What I Have Done:

I served on the Healthcare Policy and Finance Committees in the Minnesota House of Representatives for five years. Obamacare priced my family out of the health insurance market. Lowering the cost of healthcare has always been a priority. In my first year in office, I fought corporate lobbyists to get a price transparency bill signed into law. In my second year, my legislation was signed into law exposing the kickbacks paid to corporate interests to Big Pharma. These bipartisan reforms improved access and cut costs.

What I Will Do:

Washington has been in the dark on healthcare for decades. It’s time we cut the political theater and make real reform that provides price transparency and increases options for patients. We also should allow the importation of prescription drugs and use basic free-market principles that have always made our country great.

GUN RIGHTS

What I Have Done:

I have a proven track record of not just upholding, but boldly standing for our Second Amendment. I drafted a resolution that sparked the Second Amendment Sanctuary County movement, allowing commissioners to take back their rights from the federal gun grabbers. Twelve Counties have passed these resolutions in Minnesota. I authored groundbreaking legislation protecting private property rights while effectively eliminating “gun free zones.” At the State level, I have voted for “Stand Your Ground,” and “Constitutional Carry” legislation at the state level. My legislation expanding gun rights for patients even passed the Democrat-controlled house.

What I Will Do:

In Congress, I will never back down in pursuit of expanding gun rights. “… Shall not be infringed” is followed by a period, not an asterisk.

RIGHT TO LIFE

What I Have Done:

Life begins when your heart starts and ends when it stops. This is why I co-authored Minnesota’s “Heartbeat Bill.” I have consistently voted to defend life and have a crystal clear 100% score with Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL).

What I Will Do:

I will continue to defend the rights of those who have no voice and will never vote to fund Planned Parenthood.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

What I Have Done:

I voted against the Democrat’s disastrous bill to defund police and disarm law-abiding citizens.

What I Will Do:

The number one job of the federal government is to keep our citizens and our country safe. I am a strong supporter of our military and will vote to give our troops the resources to protect our country at home and abroad. We must secure our border NOW!

SUPPORTING OUR VETERANS

What I Have Done:

I supported Veterans Courts and authored legislation protecting veterans’ 2nd Amendment rights.

What I Will Do:

I am thankful to live in a country that values liberty, protected by the brave men and women who served and continue to serve in our nation’s armed forces. We must mirror this same protection by supporting our active members at home and never sending them into battle without a vote of Congress. No President should have the unilateral power to send our sons and daughters overseas without accountability from the people’s house.

INFLATION AND SPENDING

What I Have Done:

In the legislature, I have been a fiscal hawk. Every dollar the government spends, it must first take from someone else. I authored legislation to cut spending, reduce taxes, return all surpluses, and end the disastrous automatic growth of State spending. I voted against ridiculous omnibus bills which violate our Constitution.

What I Will Do:

I will vote against reckless spending bills which add to our nation’s debt. For 40 years, Democrats have increased spending, while Republicans have cut taxes. Instead of balancing the budget, they simply agreed to do both and borrow the difference. This is why our children are $30 trillion in debt and we have run-away inflation.

TERM LIMITS

What I Have Done:

I am the chief author of the Minnesota term limit bill for state legislators. Our legislature in Minnesota was supposed to be one of, for, and by the people… and that starts with legislators who serve and then go home. I have also authored the Term Limits for Congress bill. If Term Limits are good enough for the president, they are good enough for Congress.

What I Will Do:

I have signed the US Term Limits pledge and will continue to loudly demand an end to the corrupt cycle of career politicians that have infested DC. Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reasons.

TRANSPORTATION

What I Have Done:

I supported funding roads and bridges while voting against light rail and commuter train boondoggles.

What I Will Do:

Unlike the radical left, I believe funding to improve roads, bridges, and highways should be spent on improving roads, bridges, and highways. Period.

AGRICULTURE

What I Have Done:

My wife’s family has farmed in Southern Minnesota for five generations. And I have served right by their side… working in grain bins, hog barns, driving semis, or driving the combine. I understand the operation of a farm and the great financial risk farmers put into the business. My experience serving on the Agriculture Policy and Agriculture Finance Committees in the Minnesota House provided the legislative experience to protect our agriculture communities… limiting burdensome regulations and disruptions in the supply chain.

What I Will Do:

I will defend our farm families and their right to farm. Politicians, bureaucrats, and environmentalists have declared war on Ag. I have deep roots in Ag and will continue to fight for the industry which is the backbone of our district.

EDUCATION

What I Have Done:

As a father of two young girls and one whose family includes a long list of teachers, I appreciate the need for a strong education system. I support local control, so we can empower teachers, parents, and school boards. I believe school districts should have the freedom to provide innovative solutions to their local problems without asking the federal government for permission. I have voted against unfunded mandates pushed by both parties.

What I Will Do:

In Congress, I will be a strong voice for school choice and education savings accounts. And most of all… cutting the strangle hold the Feds seek to have on our Minnesota schools. We can and will remove the burdensome regulations, unfunded mandates, and woke standards. Local school boards, staff, parents, and students are the voices that matter in our curriculum.
