It has been reported that there is a critical vote in the House Rules and Calendar committee on HJR233 on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, which is a resolution for the NC legislature to call for a Convention of States. This resolution is in support of Convention of States organization which is aligned to convene a convention to craft language to form ammendments to the US Constitution which will implement Term Limits for elected Federal officials, Fiscal restraint upon the Federal government, and lastly limit the powers of the Federal government and cede power back to the states and the people. If you are anywhere in the vicinity of Raleigh and can attend the session on Wednesday at 3:30 pm, you will be doing your state and nation at great service. Here are some details The COS Gallery Rally we are planning for this coming Wednesday is May 5th. Based on the committee schedule for Wednesday, it seems clear that the full session in the House chamber will convene sometime around 3:30 pm. that afternoon.
