WE MUST FULLY AUDIT & SECURE OUR ELECTIONS WHILE ENSURING THAT ONLY LEGAL VOTES ARE COUNTED.

All elections must be audited regularly so that the people have confidence in the outcomes of their elections. Additionally, we must clean up the voter rolls, pass voter ID laws, & stop ballot harvesting.

WE NEED TO PROTECT THE AMERICAN BORDER & COLORADO FROM ILLEGAL ALIENS.

For a country to maintain its sovereignty, the borders must be secured. Unfortunately, the federal government has no real desire to protect the geographical integrity of our nation and that needs to change now.

We must stop liberal communities from becoming "sanctuary cities" for illegal aliens. Additionally, we need to put an end to giving in-state tuition, driver's licenses, and any other government benefit to illegal aliens. Colorado can do its part in stopping illegal immigration by simply not rewarding illegal behavior.

THE UNBORN CHILD’S GOD-GIVEN RIGHT TO LIFE MUST BE PROTECTED & UPHELD.

This fundamental, God-given right cannot be merely undone by radical liberals who would willingly discard those who are the most vulnerable among us. Abortion is an evil that has corrupted our nation and continues to desensitize the country to issues related to life and death.

President Ronald Reagan said it best, “I've noticed that everybody that is for abortion has already been born.”

We must not allow special interests, obsessed with receiving special treatment, to use the government as a weapon to punish people for their sincerely held beliefs. The government must not be allowed to overstep its role or violate our First Amendment.

Additionally, the government has no business forcing citizens to wear masks or take vaccines as a condition of employment, worship, or while engaging in any other legal activity.

The right to bear arms is fundamental to the defense of the American people from enemies foreign and domestic. The Second Amendment serves as a defense against crime, but also as an ultimate check against government should it become tyrannical. We need to oppose all gun-control, like unjust "Red-Flag" laws that confiscate firearms from gun owners without due process of law.

TAXES & GOVERNMENT SPENDING SHOULD BE LOW SO THAT CITIZENS CAN CONTROL THEIR OWN FINANCIAL DESTINY, AND TO PREVENT THE EXPANSION OF THE GOVERNMENT INTO AREAS NOT CLEARLY DEFINED IN THE CONSTITUTION.

Taxes & government spending are directly related to the size of government. The more money a government receives, the more it wishes to expand its budget & bureaucracy. Government has a natural inclination to spend well beyond its means. It’s important that we elect people who will limit government growth and protect the rights of taxpayers. An improved economy will occur when hardworking taxpayers and businesses are able to keep more of their own money.

WE MUST REMOVE POWER FROM WASHINGTON D.C. BY RETURNING IT TO THE PEOPLE & STATES GOVERNMENTS.

Our Founding Fathers never intended for the Federal Government to be the most powerful, nor most important, governmental institution in the land.

In fact, the Federal Government was only given certain, enumerated powers outlined in the U.S. Constitution that it wasn't supposed to deviate from. Anything not explicitly detailed for the Federal Government to perform was left for the People and the States to handle as stated in the 10th Amendment.

Power should not be centralized or concentrated to any one entity. Decentralization of power helps ensure proper checks and balances are in place while protecting individual liberties and freedom for all citizens.

As your next Congressman, Dave will fight hard to reduce the power and influence Washington D.C. has taken by returning it to the People and the States.
