Fair Elections

Audrey cares about making sure the best possible measures are in place to ensure a fair election experience for every legally registered voter involved. Audrey will make sure all security details and arrangements are made so voters can focus on voting for their candidates of choice. Audrey will make every effort to understand the exact changes and needs of our county clerks in every district, so that voting is fun and enjoyable. It is a fundamental right and privilege to vote for our elected officials in this country. It is the job of the Secretary of State to ensure that right is protected.

Secure Elections

The office of the NM Secretary of State is the official record keeper of New Mexico. New Mexico Rules and Constitution will be implemented to insure fair, legal, and secure elections. Every legal vote will be counted and every secure measure will be put in place to protect voter rights and integrity of the process.

Free Elections

Every eligible voter should be able to vote and never be burden of any costs for this right. If there is a financial need in the future to secure an identification card to vote, Audrey Trujillo will ensure that you will be able to have access.
The Department of Motor Vehicles will be consulted on the best way that we can implement a secure measure without burdening anyone who financially cannot secure an ID.

Voter Integrity

Over 70% of Americans support voter integrity laws. Guess who doesn't support? The answer is obvious, those who do not want to lose power and want to undermine the integrity of the electoral process. It's all about political power at the expense of our citizens.

Currently we see the weaponization of the voter laws and rules during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using all tactics and emergency orders, our current administration secured their elections for at least a 100 years. The current administration has taken this straight out of the Jim Crow Laws.

Currently roughly $52 million was spent on software and voter counting machines, more money spent than way more populated states. When elected, Audrey will make sure that those machines are not used to manipulate another election.

She will also push for changes in the rules to limit absentee voting to only disabled, elderly, military and voters who are temporarily out of the state on business. Audrey is also dedicated to cut the bureaucratic tape that makes it difficult to clean up voter rolls.

Each county clerk will be given the tools necessary to protect their voter precincts from fraud and confusion. As your Secretary of State, Audrey will be dedicated to cutting all the bureaucratic tape that limits transparency in our elections. Our votes are sacred and need to be held to the highest standards.
