Title: First, Build Your Team": Priorities and Resources for Credible, Reliable Ground Game.

Topic: The fight to restore free and fair elections for your state is a thousand front war. Distributed, local teams are critical to achieving state and national election integrity outcomes. Cause of America Director and USEIP Co-Founder Ashe Epp discusses local self-governance, election integrity priorities, the Colorado model for building local teams.

Hey Defender!
Thank you so much for joining Cause of America’s breakout session on local organizing to
restore election integrity, First Build Your Team. The way we win this war is when the People
stand together, and each of us brings our skills, talents, and God-given passions to the
movement this our historic movement.
Key takeaways from our discussion are:
1. The most important thing is to just get started.
2. At the most fundamental level, community organizing about growing leaders.
3. Decentralized but connected teams are key to local action.
4. Build coalitions with other groups to connect local action for statewide impact.
5. There are resources available to you. Learn more at causeofamerica.org.
Gather, understand what resources you have collectively – what skills, talents, and passions
everyone brings to the table – and get to work.
It’s going to take every single one of us.
We are scientists, mathematicians, cyber security experts, community organizers, writers,
artists, former politicians, current and former military, corporate strategists, digital experts,
super moms, pastors, prayer warriors, and so much more. We are young and we are old. We
are black, white, and brown.
We are the American People. We win.
